Tawag Ng Tanghalan on “It’s Showtime” completely reversed the country’s noontime landscape.
On its finale week dubbed “Huling Tapatan”, “It’s Showtime” scored knock-out rating points beating rival noontime show “Eat Bulaga!”.
From May 28 to June 1, 2018, “It’s Showtime’s” TNT Huling Tapatan comfortably led the ratings’ game leading to the final battle on Saturday, June 2.
Based on Kantar Media survey, “It’s Showtime” overpowered “Eat Bulaga!” for the whole week scoring 19.1% vs 11.2% on Monday, 21% vs 11.1% on Tuesday, 20.8% vs 11.5% on Wednesday, 21.4% vs 11.1% on Thursday and 21.8% vs 10.2% on Friday:
“It’s Showtime’s” biggest lead was registered on Saturday where it scored more than thrice its competitor 31.0% vs 9.5% or a whopping 21.5% lead.
And for the whole week, “It’s Showtime” averaged more than twice as much as “Eat Bulaga!’s” ratings at 22.5% vs 10.8% or a margin of 12.0%.
Tawag Ng Tanghalan on It’s Showtime crowned Janine Berdin as it’s Season 2 champion beating other talented finalists, Ato Arman, Steven Peysu, Anton Antenor Cruz, Reggie Tortugo and Arabelle Dela Cruz.
