Angel Locsin have been pitted against Liza Soberano who succeeded her as the new Darna. In an Instagram post last June 26, Wednesday, a netizen had criticized Liza’s soft-spoken attitude and called her weak.
Angel also wished that netizens should stop comparing Liza with her.
In the Instagram post, Angel was also working on her own stunts training for The General’s Daughter.

The said netizen, Jason Sagun, hoped that Angel should have remained Darna. He also added that Liza remains “lampa” and still has nothing to prove.
“Ikaw na lang po sana nag darna ms @therealangellocsin kaya mo din pala mag action ngayon sayang lang po yung pinalit pa sayo lampa pa wala pang napatunayan kahit sa bagani ang lamya kumilos””
Angel replied and didn’t hesitate to defend Liza from the netizen.
“not true. she can do action scenes really well 🙂 sana stop na to. Thanks”
In earlier reports, Angel knew Liza is deserving to be Darna. She also asked her fans to stop criticizing Liza on accepting the job.
“Huwag naman sana, kasi kung anong nangyari sa akin, walang kasalanan si Liza.”
