President Rodrigo Duterte recently kissed an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) in Seoul, Korea. The President also had a hefty amount of cheers while kissing the married woman. Netizens also noted that his act normalizes misogyny and sexual harassment.
However, singer and performer Ronnie Liang didn’t see anything wrong with the said kiss.
Ronnie wrote that President Rodrigo had the woman’s consent. He continued that he sees a lot of problems about Dengvaxia controversy.
“I see nothing wrong about #PresidentDuterte kissing a married woman on his #DuterteKorea2018 specially with her consent, But i see alot of problems about Dengvaxia Controversy, #DengueVaccine that killed many innocent children. Ombudsman is doing nothing! Dapat may managot!!”
Ronnie continued to write that politics remain dirty. He also added that some people make the kiss a big deal rather than fixing Dengvaxia.
