It has been confirmed that Rayver Cruz will bid a proper farewell in ABS-CBN epicserye Bagani.
According to a report from BALITA.net, Direk Lauren Dyogi didn’t want Rayver to just up and leave the series. The said report also stated that Bagani writers will make Rayver’s character as Kidlat more meaningful.
In past Bagani episodes, viewers thought that Kidlat had already died after he held Sarimaw’s dagger as one of his evil henchmen.
However, the babaylan, Gloria, saved him. Rayver’s fans had protested against him leaving the epicserye. This also became one of the reasons why writers decided to give Rayver’s role a more meaningful one.
Rayver left ABS-CBN Corporation’s talent management arm, Star Magic earlier this month.
According to the same report, Rayver and his new home, GMA Network, also agreed to his character having a graceful exit in Bagani.
The Kapuso network is also preparing for an upcoming project and onscreen partner for Rayver. As of this writing, Bagani only has two months left as it will end in August 2018.
