- ToyCon Poplife Fanxperience 2018 is back in the Philippines!

“The longest- running and most anticipated pop-culture event in the Philippines returns this year and it’s a whole new playground!” The Asia’s biggest and longest-running convention for toys and collectibles, cosplay, comics, gaming, and digital entertainment is back at the SMX convention center, MOA complex, Pasay city for a 3-day PopLife Fanxperience from June 8 – June 10, 2018.
The Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectible Convention (TOYCON) is the leader and pioneer in the Pop Culture events scene. Certainly a one of a kind experience for all the fans and collectors all over the country, ToyCon offers the most dynamic and most fan-centric experience in the region!
This year’s ToyCon features different booths offering a wide set of collectibles from Funko Pop Bobbleheads, limited edition comic books, board games, to anime figurines. Several special guests including Neal Adams, Jason David Frank, Michael Copon, and Kevin Grevioux among others also joined in the fun playground of ToyCon.
Neil Adams, the legendary comic book artist who helped reinventing the look of Batman and Green Arrow, is present in this year’s ToyCon.
He held a fan-signing, shared amazing stories, and answered some of fans’ questions regarding his comics and inspiration.
Kelly Hu who played Lady Deathstrike (X-men 2) and Sorceress Cassandra (The Scorpion King), Michael Copon known for his portrayal of Blue Ranger (Power Rangers Time Force), Dante Basco who played Rufio (Hook), Zuko (Avatar: The Last Airbender) and Jai Kell (Star Wars: Rebels), and Kevin Grevioux best known for his roles in films like The Mask, Underworld, and Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes remake among others, are also present to answer some fan questions in this year’s event.
Fans were all excited to see their idols on stage and get to know them better. Several exhibits ranging from minute figurines to life-size action figures also fill the ground of SMX convention center.

The event also has the biggest dealer floor featuring merchants of various pop-culture merchandise, accessories, comics, cosplay merchandise, toys, and limited edition collectibles.
Several comic artist guests and singer/ celebrities are also present to join in the fun. Even guests play dress-up in the event as several come in their cosplay costumes.
Before the days ends, there is also a PopLife FanX Sound Arena featuring singers like Apl.De.Ap of Black Eyed Peas and Hyolyn, Korean singer-songwriter and former member of South Korean girl group, Sistar.
The 3-day event is certainly a haven for all the toy collectors and fans all over the world. ToyCon is the playground not just for the kids but also for the kids at heart! From June 8-10, 2018, ToyCon is the one of a kind event that you surely don’t want to miss!
