Nadine Lustre and James Reid will have separate movies. Nadine will play the titular role in Maria Makiling while James will also play the titular role in Pedro Penduko.
In an interview with TV Patrol, Nadine expressed her trust with Viva Entertainment on handling projects for her. She also joked that James can do whatever he wants. However, she continued that having separate projects is a part of their work as actors.
“Bahala siya! Hahaha! It’s just work. Kung ano yung makakapagpabuti sa project. I mean, I trust Viva naman and, of course, it’s for the good of the film naman.”
JaDine fans shouldn’t worry as Nadine will have a cameo role as Maria Makiling in Pedro Penduko. This will come before they make a full-length movie for the famous character in Philippine mythology. However, filming for Maria Makiling will come after Nadine finishes shooting for another movie, Ulan.
Nadine will be paired with another actor in Ulan. She also expressed her excitement for this movie.
