Moira dela Torre teamed up with Boyce Avenue for their concert on June 1, Friday. In a press conference, Moira dela Torre revealed what her initial reaction was when she found out about the collaboration.
Boyce Avenue also consists of the Manzano brothers Alejandro, Fabian, and Daniel.
In the said press conference, Moira expressed how excited and nervous she is on performing with the Boyce Avenue. She revealed that if a person looked at her most streamed artists on YouTube, Boyce Avenue remains one of those in the list.
She also shared how the group had inspired her as a musician and performer.
“I’m very excited and I’m very nervous… If you look at my most streamed artists on YouTube from way back when I first started, it would be… Boyce Avenue. They have inspired me a lot as an artist, as a YouTuber, as a singer to be to consistent with my music and to make it my own. So, to be having a concert with them is surreal and I’m very very excited for tomorrow.”
Moira revealed her initial reaction on the said collaboration with Boyce Avenue. She also shared how she found out about the news. She admitted that she was in shock as she will sing on a stage with a group that had influenced her.
“Kinakabahan po ako. I got a call a few days after my ‘Tagpuan’ concert and I think it was Sir Mac or my manager, Sir Erick that came up to me and said, ‘How are you feeling? Do you feel good about your concert?’ And I was like, ‘I feel great and I feel surreal.’ And they were like, ‘Good because you’re having another one with Boyce Avenue…’ I was in shock. Because, you know, I’ll be able to be with one of my influences on the biggest stage…”
Boyce Avenue and Moira will have their concert in June 1, Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
