- SAP Bong Go promised that Asec. Mocha Uson will apologize to Kris Aquino.
- However, Mocha declined ever apologizing to Kris.
- Then, Kris went on an Instagram and Facebook Live, telling Mocha she won.
President Rodrigo Duterte recently kissed an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW). Although he got a hefty amount of cheers, many netizens slammed him for asserting the normalization of misogyny and sexual harassment.
As a response to hate comments towards the President, Asec. Mocha Uson decided to involve the late Senator Ninoy Aquino. She posted a video of him receiving a kiss from two different women inside a plane.
This happened a few minutes before he received fatal shots that caused his death. Kris Aquino, the Senator’s youngest child, responded to her father’s involvement in the issue.
Although SAP Bong Go promised that Mocha will apologize, Kris received a strike instead. In response to this, Kris went on an Instagram and Facebook Live to address Mocha’s response.
In the most latest Instagram Live, Kris agreed with Mocha that the issue isn’t about her. However, it is about her deceased father. She also added that she has the right to speak for the late Senator.
“You have a point. It is not about me. It is about my father. But, you have to accept this fact: laman at dugo niya ako at karapatan ko na magsalita para sa kanya.”
Kris acknowledged what Mocha had said in striking against her. She also compared President Rodrigo Duterte’s kiss with her own father’s.
Sinong humalik? Ganun kasimple. I will not add further to that. End of issue doon.”
Kris added that SAP Bong Go had a press conference where he said that Mocha will apologize.
“Si… Bong Go, nag-press con kanina… Okay.”
Kris explained her side why she was hurt at Mocha, having involved her dead father. She also added that Mocha chose the video a few minutes before her father was killed.
“I’m offering this… This is for my mom who told me be the better person. This is also for my dad. It was the choice of the video. You chose the video taken how many minutes before he was killed, how many minutes before walang kadepe-depensa ang tatay kong pinatay. You say it is not about me. It will always be about me dahil anak ako.”
Kris also wrote that she spoke out for her dead parents. She only wanted to be alright and everyone to go along. However, she kept on getting hurt from their hits.
I am speaking as a daughter and I tried my best. I think, I’ve done my share. I tried to reach out. I humbled myself.
Kris also addressed Bong in his statement regarding Mocha apologizing to her. Then, she added that she would campaign for Bong.
“Sir Bong, sana… Sana hindi pang-presscon lang. Sana totoo yung sinabi nating intindihin natin si Kris… I have known you for eight years and I said this to you. Binasa mo ‘yung text ko, diba? Hindi mo lang tinuloy. Sinabi ko, you’re a good man and I respect you and I would even campaign for you…”
Kris also surrendered to Mocha as she had already hurt her. Then, she would always receive negative and harsh criticisms whenever she would do something good.
“I want to end this just by saying, ‘Mocha, you win.’ You win because you hurt me and I think that’s what you wanted to do.
Kris also expressed her gratitude towards people who supported her.
“To everybody who showed us support and love. Again, I thank you.
Kris continued that people had given her a voice. She then explained why she thinks her voice matters.
Ang Facebook alone, I was told that live has had more than 5 million views. So maybe my voice matters.”
Kris also revealed why she couldn’t run for Senate. She would pray for what would be best for her to do.
“I have contracts that prevent me from running, contracts I just signed. But maybe you need a voice. I’ll pray. I will pray about what is best for me to do.
Kris also continued that with her social media, everyone remains equal. Everybody had experienced being stepped on.
“Eh ngayon, pantay pantay tayong lahat. Siguro ‘yun, eh.
Kris also pleaded SAP Bong as she had already put her hope in him. She didn’t insult President Rodrigo on the whole talk she had.
Kris also expressed her gratitude to people who had loved her parents.
“I just want to say thank you. Thank you for loving my parents.”
Kris ended the Facebook and Instagram Live with agreeing with Mocha.
“Mocha, I’ll end this. You’re right, this is not about Kris Aquino. This was a reminder that Filipinos still love and respect Cory and Ninoy Aquino.”
