Award-winning director Mikhail Red will helm upcoming zombie movie, BlockZ. This remains as the first film of this genre under Star Cinema. He had also directed NeoManila and Birdshot before which aren’t exactly a romantic-comedy film.
Although it will star Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, it won’t be like their past and upcoming films like Love You to the Stars and Back, Unexpectedly Yours and I Love You, Hater.
Mikhail also had a photo with Ian Veneracion and confirmed that the latter will also star in BlockZ.
Aside from Joshua, Julia, and Ian, Maris Racal will also star in BlockZ.
