Veteran columnist Lolit Solis recently denied a news article from Inquirer.net saying she received ₱500,000 worth of gift from Kris Aquino – “Lolit Solis receives almost 500K gift from Kris Aquino – but has to stay ‘good’ for 2 months.”
Cody Cepeda wrote the said article in Inquirer.net.
In the article, Lolit allegedly received a ₱500, 000 amount of gift.
“It seems Solis will be diverting her observations to other personalities for now, as Aquino is out of bounds – until July, at least – lest Solis wants to lose her almost half-a-million worth of gift certificate.”
A day after, Lolit posted a clarification on her Instagram account on the said matter.
“Gusto ko tumalon sa tuwa Salve ha. Bongga, headline ng Inquirer.com na binigyan ako ng 500K worth ng S&R gift certificate ni Kris Aquino. Bongga ha. Tinatawag nga ako gatecrasher of the year dahil bigla ako dumarating kahit hindi invited at tuwang-tuwa ako sa datung sa enve, hah hah tapos give ako 500K na GC as birthday gift? Bongga! I feel very expensive, parang type ko maging alipin sagigilid ni Kris Aquino hah hah. Si Tetay alam ng lahat generous, pero hindi naman siguro ganun kalaki ibibigay na regalo, maliban kung boyfriend niya, hah hah. Joke Tetay.”
In an article written by Jojo Gabinete for PEP, Lolit shared had only received ₱25, 000 of gift from Kris.
Lolit also added that if Kris had given her a ₱500,000 worth of gift, she would be kind to Kris for more than two months.
She ended her explanation on her Instagram post, “Pero sa totoo lang, promise ko na bait-baitan ako kay Tetay para give niya uli ako ng S&R gift certificate para happy Susan Co. Pero bait ngayon si Kris ha, kita mo wala sumpong, bati na sila Cristy Fermin. Mukhang very sweet temper niya, baka in love na uli, hah hah.
