- Mocha Uson defamed Ninoy’s memory to justify Duterte’s action.
Kris Aquino finally named Mocha Uson and slammed her for disrespecting her dead parents.
On her Instagram page on Tuesday, June 5, Kris wrote a strong-worded post against Uson for maligning the memories of her parents especially Sen. Ninoy Aquino.
“Asec Mocha Uson – marami akong pinalagpas. Binalahura mo na ang buong pagkatao ng pamilya namin… Mapapansin mo si Noy, hindi parte ng video ko dahil BUHAY siya. Kaya niyang depensahan ang sarili niya. Pero nung napanuod ko yung inupload mo para depensahan si presidente Duterte (na ni minsan hindi ko pinakitaan nang hindi maganda) alam mo ba kung ano ang ginawa mo?” Kris wrote.
Kris was reacting to Uson’s Facebook post containing the video clip of his dad former Senator Ninoy Aquino being kissed by a woman right before he was assassinated on August 21, 20183 at Manila International Airport.
Mocha’s post was intended to defend the currently controversial kiss of President Duterte to an OFW in South Korea.
But that didn’t sit well with Kris who said Mocha has finally crossed the line causing her to came out on Instagram and FB live later the day.
In the live video, Kris said she’s speaking out not as the “celebrity” Kris but as a daughter who was hurt after Mocha disrespected their memories.
“Mom ko yun, dad ko yun at winawalanghiya na masyado ang alaala nila. So this was just Kris the daughter, this is Kris reacting and Kris opening her heart to you.“ she said.
She asked Mocha to spare their parents in her propaganda because they don’t deserve to be maligned.
“This is about a woman who never knew them but who continues…na hindi tumitigil na bastusin ang pangalan ng mga magulang ko, tama na…..Spare my parents hindi nila deserve ang kabastusan mo, dahil binigay nila ang buhay nila para sa mga Pilipino,” she added.
Obviously, in fighting mood, Kris also challenged Mocha to a debate and even asked Mocha for a fight is she wants to because she said she’s ready for everything and anything.
She also warned Mocha to stop defaming her parents because she’s ready for a fight.
“I am giving you fair warning. Isa pa, isa pa na bastusin at babuyin mo ang tatay o ang nanay ko, magutuos tayo.
Meanwhile, journalist Philip Lustre also shared context on the “Ninoy kiss” in a Facebook post.
According to Lustre, he covered Ninoy’s assassination and the aftermath and he can speak with authority on what really happened in the video being used by Mocha to justify Duterte.
Lustre said, the 2 lady who kissed Ninoy did it to ease Nino’y anxiety.
“Two Filipino women passengers recognized Ninoy Aquino and took fancy of him. Ninoy Aquino was a man of great charisma and when the two ladies saw him, they buzzed him without any provocation. I saw the video several times. The two ladies were wishing him good luck too. It was later explained that the two women noticed how anxious Ninoy Aquino was. They felt that planting some playful kisses would ease the anxiety, which was then clearly etched on his face,” he wrote.
He also described attacks in Ninoy as an act of cowardice since the dead man can no longer defend himself.
“Some parties were trying to blacken the memory of a dead man, who has no chance to defend himself. This is not new to me. I am always the first to stand up to say that they have to man up and say whatever nasty things to persons, who are very much alive. What they are doing to a dead man is an act of cowardice.”
