John Estrada, who transferred to GMA network last month, has been raving about his upcoming big project right after he signed the contract. He later revealed that the said big project will be a series with Alden Richards.
It was also rumored that her daughter Inah de Belen will also be part of the said project because of her tweet welcoming John to the network. This led to Inah getting bashed by netizens thinking she will be replacing Maine Mendoza as Alden’s love tandem. Inah explained that she is not part of the project which immediately ended the bashing.
GMA Network announced that the project involving John Estrada and Alden Richards is titled “Victor Magtanggol.” John finally met Alden on May 30 in their first taping day together. The veteran actor easily admired the young actor and now they’re already comfortable working together.
“Parang feeling ko, eh, matagal na kaming magkakilala,” John said. “I think this is the biggest project of GMA this year. So, I feel really blessed na napasama ako sa proyektong ito.”
Alden, on the other hand, was excited to meet John Estrada for the first time and eager to start acting with him.
There is no official statement yet regarding what kind of role John will be playing. Many suggest that he is probably the story’s antagonist because he is remarkable in performing that role.
