- “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” is possible to get extended once again
- The top-rating series is supposed to end on October 2018 and to be replaced by “The General’s Daughter”
- New faces will be appearing in the series starting this week
“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” has been running a top-ranking series for almost 3 years now and it looks like the action-thriller is far from over.
It was rumored recently that the series will end on October 2018 and Angel Locsin’s “The General’s Daughter” is set to replace it. However, it is possible that the show will be extended yet again due to Coco Martin being awarded the “FPJ Memorial trophy” in the FAMAS Awards.
Just recently, the Kapamilya top-rating series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” continues to rule the nationwide ratings game as it scored its highest national TV rating this 2018 last Wednesday (June 13). The series recorded a national TV rating of 44.4%, or more than double that of “The Cure’s” 16.9%, according to data from Kantar Media, which covers rural and urban homes.
Ricardo Dalisay (Coco Martin) has brought down hundreds of enemies since its pilot episode in 2015. From a local drug-lord Albert Martinez…
To the drug-lord’s vengeful son Arjo Atayde…
To the international and grandfather drug-lord Eddie Garcia…
To the local rebels “Pulang Araw” group led by Lito Lapid, who is now an ally…
To a misled rebel blinded by money Jhong Hilario…
To the real rebel and corrupt government official John Arcilla…
…and currently the corrupt Vice President Edu Manzano.
There is no final date on when the series will end. It is also rumored that Eddie Garcia will be coming back to the show since his dead body wasn’t found during the shootout encounter in Baguio. The mid-80-year-old action star Eddie Garcia is said to be currently sick that’s why he left the show.
Watch the exciting new episodes and new faces in ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” every weekday night on ABS-CBN after TV Patrol.
