Erwan Heusaff is the Pinoy Food Tourism Ambassador and Content Creator of Buhay Carinderia Redefined – a TPB project that face a controversy last April 2018 under Cesar Montano’s management.
He confirmed that he will return his talent fee to the Tourism Promotions Board. According to the Cabinet records, the talent fee Erwan is about to return is worth over a million peso.
Heusaff has nothing to do with the controversy. He just became part of the big picture since he was appointed as the celebrity ambassador. The said project had budget of P320-million and was help at the Rizal Park Hotel.
So, what’s the controversy?
Other than the critics who questioned the event by almost replacing the long-running food event Madrid Fusion Manila, it was later found out that the project did not go through the proper budget bidding. Technically, the already spent budget should’ve never existed.
People praised Erwan Heusaff for returning the funds. His only intention why he joined the event is to help promote the Filipino Cuisine.
