- Doctolero made a statement via twitter defending Uson’s lapses.
- Eric Cabahug, an award-winning writer questioned Doctolero’s stance.
- Netizens expressed disgust on both Doctolero and Uson.
Known to be a Diehard Duterte Supporter (DDS) and a controversial writer of Kapuso network Suzette Doctolero posted something about assistant secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) that said: “Here is a woman at a young age has lost her dad kasi pinatay ng criminal. Na nag dancer to help support her family. And now, nagtransform into a popular vlogger/usec na may malawak na mass support. Idadown nyo? Kesa ikatuwa nan aka angat?! Wala. Feminism is dead.”
The said tweet didn’t escape the Palanca-winning scriptwriter, Awit-nominated songwriter Eric Cabahug’s critical thoughts as he posted about it, “A Mocha defender. Ginamit pa ang feminism. Jusmio!
The woman scriptwriter who has been defending not just Uson but also been a staunch supporter of the 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
After Cabahug shared Doctolero’s tweet on his facebook wall, a couple have expressed their feedback about the Uson who recently had a recent squabble online with the former First Daughter and First Sister Kris Aquino when the undersecretary posted an offensive post about her comparing the kiss of the President Duterte (in South Korea) with Aquino’s late father—Ninoy Aquino a few minutes prior to being assassinated.
Then on June 14, two days ago, Uson was in hot water again. The Netizens spotted an error in a post on the PCOO’s official facebook page about outgoing Norwegian Ambassador to the Philippines Erik Forner, who paid President Rodrigo Duterte a farewell call in Malacañang. She captioned and called the ambassador as ‘the ‘representative of Norwegia’.
Netizens could not help but continue to harp on Uson after the tweet of Doctolero; it further fanned fire and triggered much negative comments.
Someone commented by the name MumbAki Gonzales: “On a scale of 1 to suzette, gaano po ka-irrelevant at kabobo ang argumento ng pathetic na ito?”
Another one added, “Oh my. Ididn’t realize she’s this cheap!”
But, Laila Chikadora, senior news correspondent of News 5 shared a revelation: “Ang mommy ni mocha ay pediatrician, doctor po. So she did not dance to earn a living. May kaya na sila noon pa man.
Alonzo A. Gabriel also questioned the ‘feminism’ stance of Doctolero: “Medyo gasgas ang feminism. What did Mocha do to uplift the morale of Women?! Mandukot ng itlog na maalat? Nah. Wrong equation madame. Kagaya ng diskurso mo.”
An entertainment columnist Alwyn Ignacio shared her thoughts about Doctolero: “Hiyang-hiya ako sa argumento mo.
Suzette is someone who is fond of making statements that (most of the time) inclines to siding with the current administration and its supporters like Mocha.
