Today, June 29, marks the first time a single artist, Drake, has taken over multiple Spotify playlists around the world, including some of your favorite ones like New Music Friday, This is Drake, Trending Tracks, and Top Hits Philippines.
With the help of Republic, Cash Money and Young Money Records, the first dedicated artist takeover, dubbed “Scorpion SZN,” is in honor of the rapper’s newest album release, “Scorpion.”
Log on to your Spotify profile to see Drake take over the “Browse” page, and stream the new 25-track double album that includes the hits, “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What.”
And while Drake’s takeover isn’t here for a long time, it will be for a good time.
