Although she doesn’t feel any pressure, Devon Seron still slowly adjusting in GMA Network. In an interview with PEP.ph, Devon felt like she has to go back to zero. Devon transferred from ABS-CBN Corporation to GMA Network in March 2018.
In the said interview, Devon shared that she had a talk with Walwal leading man, Kiko Estrada.
“Maraming moment kami na nag-uusap nang masinsinan or seryoso about our life, about our work.”
Devon and Kiko talked about being a Kapuso. If Matt Evans and John Estrada already felt at home in GMA Network, Devon is still testing the waters on being a Kapuso. She felt like she had gone back to zero. Devon also disclosed some advice that Kiko had told her regarding her confidence to be a Kapuso.
“Yes po, marami kaming napag-usapan. May nakuwento rin siya sa akin na feeling ko, makakatulong din sa akin… Tulad ko po, nangangapa pa lang din po ako dahil bago lang ako. So, parang feeling ko talaga back to zero ako. Marami siyang sinabi sa akin to feel confident again at isipin ko ang mga pinagdaanan ko. Yung mga natutunan ko sa acting.”
According to Devon, she had a guest appearance for the past three months. In every guest appearance she had, she experienced kindness and friendliness from other Kapuso. She also revealed how they make her comfortable.
“Masaya naman po kasi kahit three months pa lang po ako run, marami na akong napag-guest-an na show. They’re very nice to me and very friendly. Akala ko mapi-pressure ako. Kasi, every time na magsu-shoot ako run, every time na may guesting ako, palagi po talaga akong napi-pressure. Palagi akong kinakabahan. Pero kapag nasa shoot na ko, kapag nakakahalubilo ko na sila, they make me feel comfortable.”
Devon wanted to express herself and reveal her talent.
“Wala po akong expectation. I just want to hone my talents. Maipakita kung ano pa ang kaya kong gawin. I just wanna do better and do my craft.”
