In Allan Diones’ report from ABANTE Tonite, Pokwang clarified her cryptic tweet regarding her showbiz comeback. In the cryptic tweet, she insinuated that some people are hindering her from her showbiz comeback. She also recently gave birth to baby Malia and took a well-deserved rest.
Her role as Amor Nieves in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano became her last project in 2017.
In the tweet, Pokwang wrote how she just wanted to go to work for her children. She added that she didn’t even do anything wrong. She also remarked that she felt sad about the hindrance.
“gusto ko lang naman mag hanap buhay ng marangal, at bilang nais ko lang din magbalik hanap buhay para sa mga anak ko, bakit parang may humaharang? ina ano ko ba kayo? kaka lungkot naman”
In the said interview with ABANTE Tonite, Pokwang also pointed out that she’s just in the postpartum period.
“Waley ‘yun, mars! Postpartum lang ‘yon! Waley nga! Wit! Tamang-emote lang ang loley mo nu’ng time na ‘yon. Walang gano’n. Postpartum nga.”
