Andy Grammer is the son of recording artist Robert Crane “Red” Grammer, He is the singer behind the hits Keep Your Head Up, Honey, I’m good, and Fresh Eyes.
It was the singer’s first time in the country. He shared that he never thought that he could perform in such a location that is far away from where he started, which is in the streets of Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica.
In an intimate venue, Grammer made sure to connect with his supporters with this one night only performance of his own songs and covers from other artists he admires. He started off the night with the energetic tune of one of his songs, Good to Be Alive (Hallelujah). He then showcased his skills in playing various instruments like the trumpet, piano, and guitar.
Although Grammar was the main man of the concert, his band didn’t go unnoticed as they have showcased overflowing energy as the stages go on. They even danced with the singer in some songs and had their own solo pieces in others.
In between his performances, Grammer told various stories about his life. He mentioned his daughter, his past as a busker, Taylor Swift, and at one point, he even made an emotional poem about his dad.

Grammer was supposed to end the concert with his a few words of encouragement and the song The Good Parts but the fans requested for an encore. He came back saying “I flew 20 hours or so to perform here, might as well sing one more song, right?” as he started playing his own rendition of Snow Patrol’s Chasing Cars. The night ended with the feeling of pure joy and satisfaction.
