President Rodrigo Duterte went to the wake of the late former senator, Edgardo Angara, and Aga Muhlach’s father, Cheng Muhlach, at the Heritage Park.
At Cheng Muhlach’s wake, the President had a chance encounter with the “Wowowin” host Willie Revillame who also paid respect to Cheng Muhlach’s family.
People noticed that Willie Revillame and President Digong had a long talk during the wake. The conversation was said to last almost 5 hours. And for that, an assumption arises that Willie Revillame may join politics in 2019.
According to Pep Entertainment Blog, it was Senator Sonny Angara who convinced Willie Revillame to sit beside the President.
A few weeks ago, there was a rumor that a political leader has been convincing Willie to run for Mayor in Quezon City. Some of these leaders are House Representatives Winnie Castelo, Bingbong Crisologo, at Ace Barbers, at former Cabinet Secretary Mike Defensor.
However, if the rumor is true, Willie might aim for a higher position after having a serious talk with President Duterte.
The host-actor has yet to confirm whether he will be a Mayor Willie or a Senator Willie.
