Vice Ganda recently spoke up against a reporter, Gorgy Rula who stated that Vic Sotto presumably deserves the Dolphy Lifetime Achievement Award more.
According to Vice, this became a way for him to stand up for fellow celebrities who became a victim of negative news from the media.
In an interview with PEP.ph, Vice shared that he remains grateful to everything.
“It’s a big blessing, I’m embracing every single blessing every single day and I am grateful to everything.”
Vice explained the reason behind his Twitter rant about Gorgy’s article, “FAMAS: Vice, naunahan pa si Vic sa Dolphy Award.“ In Vice’s Twitter rant, he suggested solutions in order Gorgy to be happy on the comedian’s recent achievement.
I was actually taking it lightly, ginagawa ko na nga lang katatawanan. Pero sabi ko, ‘Someone has to step up to defend naman ourselves.'”
Vice also shared that he read a headline that he went berserk over the said reporter. He stated that somebody has to step up and defend themselves. Although many asked him to ignore Gorgy’s statements, he will continue to step up for others and himself.
May nabasa pa ako, ‘Si Vice Ganda Napikon Sa Isang Reporter.’ Di ako napikon, somebody has to step up to defend ourselves.
Vice also added that everything should be give and take.
“Dapat give and take lang tayo.
