Top One Project, also known as TOP, now has the freedom to write their own songs. The boy group consists of Mico Cruz, Joshua Jacobe, Miko Manguba, Adrian Pascual and Louie Pedroso. In a blog conference, the group revealed that they now have the freedom to write songs for themselves. It also makes them enjoy and appreciate their own music more.
Their song produced under GMA Records, Nasa Dulo, will now be available on Spotify. The group revealed that they now remain on having a collaborative work on their own songs. They also admitted that they will be very hands-on on the music they will produce this year.
Only some members of the group remain open to acting. Joshua and Adrian already experienced acting. Adrian had fun in his experience on playing the role of a bisexual in Ang Forever Ko’y Ikaw. On the other hand, Miko went to auditions and had offers to play a role in theater. However, due to scheduling problems, he couldn’t push through.
When asked about their opinion on the statement, “Boybands are short-lived,” they also acknowledged that it does happen. However, they added that it only happens to groups who don’t have a commitment to each other. They continued that when you’re in love with what you’re doing and doing it with, how can you not be committed to it.
