She’s got it all and she’s ready to give back for all the supporters who were with her since day one. Former GirlTrends member and now popular YouTube sensation, Riva Quenery, is set to welcome another milestone in her life as she turns 20. “RiVlog Live!” will serve as Riva’s first-ever concert which she personally dedicates to all her fans.
Fiery performances, fun banter, good memories and a whole bunch of inspiration are just a few of the things that Rive promises to showcase on her one-night-only birthday/beneficial concert next week!
Like her famous vibe online, Riva’s concert will have an overall theme of “vlogging.” She admits to being super hands-on about preparations and set arrangements because she wants to feel “in charge” of the audience’s entertainment like what she does in her YouTube videos.
“Kasi para rin ito yun sa mga sumusuporta sakin na kapag pinanood nila ang concert ko para rin silang nanonood ng vlogs ko live,” she explained. Through time, her career as an online influencer grew bigger. She just received a popular Silver Play Button award on YouTube for hitting 100,000 subscribers. It tripled in just a year as her channel now stands with 340,000!
Despite the fame, Riva has always kept her feet on the ground. More than her snappy dance moves and quirky attitude, she also has a heart for the needy. On May 27, a portion of the ticket sales for “RiVlog Live!” will go to her chosen charity at the Tahanang Mapagkalinga ni Madre Rita.
“Every birthday ko, I make sure na tumutulong ako sa mga street children. Parang naging advocacy ko na siya. Parang naisip ko rin na, what better way to celebrate it than to make my supporters happy and share it with less fortunate kids.”
Along with Riva, are her close friends in the industry including Krissha Viaje, Sammie Rimando, Zeus Collins, Maris Racal, and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano child star Awra Briguela.
“Excited na ako to explore new things para sa mga taong sumusuporta sakin kasi matagal na nila itong hinihingi saakin,” Riva shared.
