Ferdinand Topacio recently posted a tweet giving a kudos to Phil Dy after seeing his review of the film, This Time I’ll Be Sweeter.
The said movie starred real-life Barbie and Ken, Barbie Forteza and Ken Chan. The film is under Joel Lamangan’s direction and under Lily Monteverde’s Regal Films. It available in theaters nationwide in November 8, 2017.
Ferdinand posted a tweet sharing how he just saw the film.

Philbert has published a bad review for This Time I’ll Be Sweeter movie topbilled by Ken Chan and Barbie Forteza. “All the most tired romcom tropes are mindlessly assembled in a movie that is inexplicably not a parody of a genre”
Phil quoted the tweet and wrote:

One netizen wondered whether Ferdinand watched it through a legal platform.

Phil quoted the tweet and felt that the netizen had a fair question.
“Fair question.”
Ferdinand responded that a friend had gave him a copy. This would be ironic if he had watched This Time I’ll Be Sweeter through a pirated platform.
“A friend gave me a copy on digital format because he knew I wanted to review it but missed it. And?”
The film shows the love story of Barbie and Ken’s characters: Erika and Tristan. Tristan is considered as a campus heartthrob because of his atheletic abities in swimming.
They both grow close to each other but due to an unforeseen event, they part ways.
Erika graduates as a Cum Laude and succeeds as a field reporter. Tristan ends up working for their family business, an airline company. Their paths cross one more time when an incident which involves Tristan’s family and Erika’s career.
