- Nora Aunor’s teleserye in GMA will be called “Onanay”
- This is one of GMA’s big projects this year along with “Ika-5 Na Utos: Wag Kang Papatay”
- “Onanay” is to replace “Kambal, Karibal”
Nora Aunor’s big project in the Kapuso network finally has a title.
GMA Network first came up with the name “Extraordinary Love,” but the management changed it to “Onanay.”
The said new teleserye is to replace the supposedly about to end “Kambal, Karibal” series, but somehow it was extended again due to high audience demand. “Onanay” will have to wait until the top-rating “Kambal, Karibal” concludes.
The recent episode of “Kambal, Karibal” shows the death scene of Jean Garcia. Jean is part of another upcoming series in the Kapuso Network and a predecessor of “Ika-6 Na Utos” – “Ika-5 Na Utos: Wag Kang Papatay.” This project will also be directed by the “Ika-6 Na Utos” director Laurice Guillen.
Meanwhile, Nora Aunor is thankful for GMA Network for giving her a big project such as “Onanay.” This is her chance to prove that she is still the “Superstar.”
GMA has yet to announce the details of their upcoming shows.
