- Nora Aunor is confirmed as a Kapuso Network
- She has an upcoming big project in GMA Network playing as the mother of the main character
- She shared that she has “utang na loob” to GMA
Nora Aunor signed a contract with GMA Network last May 10, 2018, and she could not stop her emotions in expressing her gratitude to the network.
Senior Vice President for GMA Entertainment Content Group Lilybeth Rasonable at GMA AVP for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy were present during the contract signing.
The Superstar has an upcoming big project with the Kapuso Network. She also had short appearances in GMA earlier this year, so it was just a matter of time before she signs a contract and pledges to become a Kapuso.
The said project will also star and marks the return of Wendell Ramos and Adrian Alandy. Mikee Quintos, Kate Valdez, Cherie Gil, Vaness del Moral, Rochelle Pangilinan, Enrico Cuenca, and Gardo Versoza are also part of the cast-listing.
When asked about the teleserye, Nora revealed, “Gusto ko yung teleserye at maganda yung istorya, tungkol sa kung paano magmahal ang isang ina sa isang anak, at kung paano ipagtanggol ang isang anak ng ina.”
Nora Aunor will be playing the mother of Onay. The “Onay” character will be played by the actress with dwarfism – Jo Berry.
Nora also shared a small detail about the scope of the story.
