Twitter and MYX Philippines (@MYXphilippines), the number one music channel in the country and one of the most followed accounts on Twitter in the Philippines, highlighted the best of Original Pinoy Music (OPM), local artists, video music and other outstanding achievements in the music and entertainment industry in last night’s #MYXMusicAwards2018.
The event generated more than 1.1 million related Tweets as the conversation peaked during the red carpet special with 180,000 Tweets per minute (TPM) around 8PM PHT.

The #MMAs2018 took a page from Hollywood and began the night with a red carpet special which they streamed live on Twitter via @MYXphilippines.

The official hashtag #MYXMusicAwards2018 took over Twitter feeds as it topped the Philippine as it trended at #1 throughout the night. Below are the top hashtags used during last night’s event:

Fans followed the stars closely on the platform, rooting for their favorite stars and artists to bag awards.
