The story of two people trying to move on from their respective heartbreaks discover what it means for them in “Mr. & Mrs Cruz,” the movie premiering this Saturday (June 2) and Sunday (June 3) on KBO.
Raffy (JC Santos) and Gela (Ryza Cenon) are two strangers who are trying to heal their broken hearts while on vacation. They are mistaken for a married couple by their tour group since they share a last name, Cruz. Fate has brought them together, it’s not up to them to maintain their connection.
The movie was directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, who also directed the indie hit “Kita Kita.” It features the beautiful islands of Palawan as a backdrop to the budding romance of the two lead characters.
