Mike Enriquez and Mel Tiangco host 24 Oras with Vicky Morales. Many rumors suggest that Mike and Mel aren’t in good terms as of now. However, Mike recently denied said rumors and even joked about it. Although Mike is their boss, Arnold Clavio, Ali Sotto and Joel Reyes Zobel revealed that they never felt like he is.
Mike, responded to the alleged gap between him and Mel. He also joked that gap remains a clothing brand.
“Hindi totoo ‘yun. Brand ‘yun ng damit.”
Ali also shared that Mike never made them feel inferior.
“Si Mike Enriquez, ang most endearing quality for me is he doesn’t make me feel that he’s my boss. I think he has given me the best gift, he believes in me. Napakalaking bagay because everybody wants to feel validated. The best gift that I have received from Mike Enriquez is nagtiwala siya sa akin, and I am in radio now because of him.”
Joel also revealed that Mike may be his boss but he remains a good friend.
“Mike is a very strict boss but he is a very, very good friend. Hanggang ngayon, malaki ang utang na loob ko kay Mike dahil siya ang nagbigay sa akin ng pinakamalaki at pinakamatindi na break sa career ko, so I will be forever grateful.”
Arnold also shared how much he admired Mike. He continued with which qualities that he admired most.
“Ang isa sa hinahangaan ko kay Mike ay hindi siya sinungaling. Nasubukan na namin ni Joel ‘yun, kaya kung may sasabihin ka sa kanya, tapatin mo siya, magiging best friend mo siya. Pero kung mahuhuli ka niyang nagpapalusot ka o mali yung sinasabi mo, mahuhuli’t mahuhuli ka niya, eh. Siya ang worst enemy mo, kaya kami tapat…”
