Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla will star in an upcoming movie, The Hows of Us. The movie will be under the helm of director Cathy Garcia-Molina. In a recent interview with PUSH.com, Kathryn and Daniel revealed the story of the said movie.
Direk Cathy expressed her happiness and excitement on working again with the love team and real-life couple, KathNiel.
Kathryn revealed that The Hows of Us will be a light romance with “Timplang Molina.” Although they have yet to develop their characters, the movie will be about a couple in a long-term relationship.
She disclosed that the movie will answer the questions of the reasons why a couple stay together.
“Basically, we’re doing a light romance… The title is the ‘Hows Of Us’… It’s about dalawang tao, couple, in a long-term relationship and ‘yung gusto namin na tanong… Ano bang reason nating bawat isa to stay in that relationship.
Daniel continued that the story remains close to their hearts. He and Kathryn actually asked what would be the reason to stay together. He guarantees that the movie will teach viewers on what the reasons will be.
Kathryn and Daniel talked about the story while they were on a vacation in Thailand. Daniel stated that these scenarios also exist to other people. He acknowledged the existence of the two, five and seven-year itch that couples usually experience.
Meron kasi tayong seven-year itch ‘di ba?”
Daniel hoped that millennials would learn from the movie and wishes that they would stop giving up right away. He promises that the movie will touch on having such experiences.
May ganun. So, ngayon eto ‘yung gagawin namin.”
