“Home Sweetie Home” was created as a family-friendly show that depicts the story of husband and wife. However, the boat was shaken when John Lloyd Cruz suddenly left the show.
The recent episode shows Julie (Toni Gonzaga) and JP (Piolo Pascual) talks about having her marriage with Romeo (John Lloyd Cruz) annulled.
Ellen Adarna, John Lloyd’s rumored girlfriend, was also part of the show as Tanya. She and John Lloyd disappeared together after the issue that Ellen was pregnant.
The show decided to shift the story and make it look like Romeo was working abroad. As the story goes on, Julie found out that Tanya followed Romeo abroad and a friend texted her that Romeo is cheating on her.
The photo sent to Julie shows Romeo and Tanya together. When she called Romeo, it was a woman with a similar voice as Tanya who picked up the phone.
In one of Toni Gonzaga’s interview, she acknowledged that they are writing a new chapter of Julie’s life that may or may not involve Romeo. It’s safe to say that John Lloyd’s chance of returning to the show is like rain in summer.
