Jeyrick “Carrot Man” Sigmaton recently arrived in Manila on May 10, Thursday. He also went on an acting workshop on May 12, Saturday. Scriptwriter, director and actor Jigz F. Recto facilitated the said workshop.
In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph, Jerick shyly revealed his experience on trying showbiz again.
Jeyrick shared what he would do during his stay in Manila.
“Try ko pong mag-workshop muna, ‘tapos kung papayagan po, e, try ko na ring mag-artista kung sakali po.”
Jeyrick also had to share his life story in GMA Network’s anthology, Magpakailanman which starred Jake Vargas in 2016. He received a question whether he has a contract with the said network.
“Ahh, wala po. Hindi pa po ako pumirma noon.”
Jeyrick shared whether he would venture in doing drama series or performing.
“Kung kaya ko ho lahat, puwede ko pong pagsabayin sana… Kahit na type ko, e, magustuhan ko, hindi labag sa kalooban ko, yun ho sana ang gagawin ko. Maging aktor…. drama, aksyon, ‘tapos singing po.”
Jeyrick also revealed whether it remains easy or hard to get into the industry.
“Sa ngayon po, masasabi kong mahirap… ang dami pa naming matututunan dito. Hindi pa namin alam yung susunod. First step pa lang kami, kaya nga… Pagkatapos nito, saka na lang ako magdedesisyon kung kaya ko ba or… Ilalaban ko ba o hindi na?”
Jeyrick admitted which network he preferred working for.
“Sa ABS (CBN) po.”
