Floyd Mayweather, Jr. recently arrived in the Philippines for Miss Universe 2018. According to Lolit Solis’ article in Philstar.com, Floyd will be a special guest for a Miss Universe event which will take place in Okada Manila. Crowned Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere (2016), Demi Leigh Nel Peters (2017) and Philippines’ very own Pia Wurtzbach (2015) will also attend the said event.
Floyd touched down in Manila on May 8, Tuesday morning and shared that he wanted to see what the country holds. This will be his first time visiting the country.
“We have to see what the country holds, but I’m pretty sure there are so many great things… I’m just here to have fun, and enjoy life, and enjoy this great country.”
According to the Lolit’s article, Miss Universe 2018 will be held in the Philippines. Apparently, the said annual pageant will go along with the re-opening of Boracay Island in November 2018.
Catriona Gray will be representing the Philippines for Miss Universe 2018.
