Derrick Monasterio and Barbie Forteza starred in a movie Almost A Love Story. However, cinemas had pulled it out of the theaters. Derrick and Barbie couldn’t help but express their disappointment on the said matter.
On April 14, Saturday, Barbie took to Twitter to express her dismay. According to an interview with BALITA.net, she also wished that cinemas would bring it back to theaters.
In the said interview, Barbie commended the movie not because she and Derrick starred in it. They appreciated the movie they had made and hoped people would, too.

“Sana kapag napanood na ang malalaking foreign movies, ibalik o kahit i-block screening na lang. Maganda ang movie, hindi dahil kami ang bida, pero ‘yun ang sinasabi ng mga nakapanood. Kahit noong pinanood namin sa premiere night at tuwing block screening, parang nawala sa isip namin ‘yung kung maghi-hit ba siya o kung magba-blockbuster ba siya. Parang na-appreciate namin ‘yung movie itself na parang proud kami na ginawa namin ang movie na ‘yun.”
In the said tweet, Barbie wrote how sad she felt.
“Nakakalungkot na may mga taong gustung manood ng Almost A Love Story sa lugar nila pero hindi na palabas pinull out agad .”
On the other hand, Derrick and Barbie will star in Inday Always Love You with Kim Rodriguez and Juancho Trivino.
