- ABS-CBN wins Best TV Station at the Bataan Peninsula State University Kagitingan Awards
- The BPSU Kagitingan Awards recognizes heroic television programs and personalities across different media genres
ABS-CBN, the country’s leading media and entertainment company, was recognized for upholding the value of heroism in different aspects, winning best TV station and six other awards at the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) Kagitingan Awards.
Longest-running drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” took home the award for best drama anthology, while drama series “Hanggang Saan” won best drama series.
Meanwhile, the network also took home awards for two of its daily entertainment programs and the respective shows’ hosts. Daily morning show “Magandang Buhay” won best talk show, while hosts Jolina Magdangal, Karla Estrada, and Melai Cantiveros won best talk show personalities.
Daily noontime variety show “It’s Showtime” won best entertainment program, while show mainstay Vice Ganda won best entertainment program personality.
The BPSU Kagitingan Awards recognizes heroic television programs and personalities across different media genres. The award aims to “inculcate among the youth the values of valor, bravery, and heroism in the form of television shows.”
