Kapuso writer Suzette Doctolero has joined fellow Duterte supporters in raising alarm over Facebook’s partnership with online news organizations Rappler and Vera Files.
In a series of Tweets, Doctolero slammed the Rappler and Vera Files for being perceived “yellow” leaning organizations.
Doctolero didn’t mince words in slamming Rappler and Vera Files newest role in social media.
“Highly partisan, dilaw-worshipping Rappler will be FB’s fact checker?” she asked.
The GMA Network writer described FB’s partnership with Rappler and Vera Files as “kalokohan”. She even compared the latest news to an April fools joke even though it’s past April 1.
“Dilaw leaning Rappler and highly partisan Vera Files will be FB’s fact checker… hindi na april fool’s day pero uso pa lokohan. Chos!”, Doctolero teases.
She also made fun of Maria Ressa digital campaign on taking back the internet to civilized netizens saying fellow ka-DDS should undergo exorcism or “pagtatawas”.
“Mukhang magkakatotoo na ata ang sumpa ni Ressa na she will take back the internet ah! Tara na mga ka DDS, magpatawas na tayo! Lol” Suzetter laughs.
Doctolero is the latest Duterte supporter to slam Facebook’s partnership with Rappler and Vera Files.
Die-hard Duterte supporters Paula Defensor Knack and singer DDS Jimmy Bondoc also took to their social media account to air their sentiments on Rappler and Vera file’s role in Facebook.
