  • Sofia Gonzales-Romualdez is following the footstep of her mom in showbiz
  • She released a debut single “Thinking of U”
  • She is currently working with an upcoming album under Viva Records

The daughter of the actress-politician Cristina Gonzales officially joined the showbiz industry under the management of Viva Artist Agency.

Sofia Gonzales-Romualdez is the daughter of Cristina Gonzales and former Tacloban City Mayor Alfred Romualdez. She is entering showbiz by taking a first step in the music industry. She is said to bring “Hugot” music that millennials will surely love and can relate.

The young singer is fond of new and classic music, especially old jazz. She described her genre to be more of a combined rhythm of Jazz and R&B.

As she enters the industry, she will be releasing a debut single titled “Thinking of U.” Although her music and lyrics are more on “hugot,” her inspiration was taken from the super typhoon Yolanda that struck her hometown several years ago.

She even composed her own songs. So, that makes her a singer-songwriter also that is extremely hot in the music industry today. She said, “I want to introduce my sound, my music and my inspiration to the millennials.

Her mother also advised her to be ready for the new life and career she is about to partake. Showbiz life is not easy, and most of the young artists are usually not behaving well. But, we can probably trust Sofia’s behavior since her mom gave her such strong and meaningful advice.

“My mom always tells me to stay humble and work hard for my dreams. And to always give my best in everything that I do,” Sofia remarked.

Currently, she is working on her upcoming album under Viva Records. Will she be the next teenage sensation? We’ll soon find out.
