Promotional materials of Bagani may have just confirmed Sofia Andres will not return in the said fantasy series. Sofia plays the role of Mayari. She died after Ryan Eigenmann’s Sarimaw struck her with lightning. On the other hand, Liza Soberano seemed to have reached the same fate. However, her character, Ganda, is still in promo materials.
When Liza “died,” her character on the photo which Star Creatives uploaded on Instagram just died its color down. However, when Sofia “died,” her character has been completely removed from the material. Sofia and Star Creatives has yet to give a reason behind Mayari’s passing.
Fans expressed their shock on Mayari’s death since she was billed as the main role. The original group consists of Liza, Enrique Gil, Makisig Morales and Matteo Guidicelli. Liza’s character came back when Ganda woke up in a version of afterlife called, Dako Pa Roon.
In the recent episodes, Zaijan Jaranilla’s Liksi appeared to replace Sofia as a becoming a Bagani. He joined Makisig’s Dumakulem and Dimples Romana’s Gloria on their mission to reunite the separated group to save Sansinukob.
