- Ryan Bang received an offer from SBS TV which he turned down.
- He has no regrets about passing up the said offer.
- After playing sidekicks, he finally gets a lead role.
Ryan Bang recently revealed that he never expected to end up in the showbiz industry. He also couldn’t believe to have a Star Cinema movie which he top-bills. After doing many supporting roles, he finally has his own horror-comedy movie, Da One That Ghost Away.
During the movie’s grand media launch, Ryan shared that he gave his 150% for the movie.
In the said media launch, Ryan stated that he couldn’t believe that he would be a leading man. He had always played as a sidekick for Piolo Pascual, Coco Martin and Robin Padilla. He also added that he would want to be like Empoy Marquez.
Ryan also just passed up on an offer to start his career in South Korea. He slightly regretted rejecting Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) TV. He also added that he couldn’t believe that he will be a leading man to Kim Chiu.
Ryan revealed his role in DOTGA (Da One That Ghost Away). He played the role of Kim’s best friend, a Tagalog and English teacher for Korean students.
DOTGA (Da One That Ghost Away) also stars Maymay Entrata, Edward Barber, Enzo Pineda, Moi Bien, Chokoleit, Lassy, Pepe Herrera, and Odette Khan. Ryan also disclosed that he never felt that his co-stars has a superstar attitude.
