There have been a number of young artists today that are involved in scandals or issues even though they’re yet to make a name in the showbiz industry.
Young artists acting inappropriately is not a surprise because, first of all, they are young, and they have much to learn. But, this is not the case with Ruru Madrid. The young actor has his own mature way to avoid scandals and controversies.
Ruru Madrid simply won’t “chat strangers online.”
“Kapag random people, hindi. Ever since. Iyon siguro yung mapa-proud ako sa sarili ko,” he said. When asked how sure he is that he has no video scandal, he answered confidently, “One hundred and one percent sure!”
Well, it’s great that the Kapuso actor knows how to discipline himself. Since most of the scandals involving celebrities came from chatting random people.
Although, he admitted that there are several cases of temptation such as young and sexy girls chatting him on Instagram. He would look at their pictures and admire them, but not to the point that he will attempt to start a conversation.
But, how long can Ruru Madrid fight these temptations?
“Ako kasi, siguro it’s better na makilala mo personally kesa thru phone.” He also revealed that he is open to dating. ““Siyempre hindi natin maiiwasan, kailangan nating makipag-date, kailangan nating kumilala ng mga bagong tao. Pero mas maganda na kilalanin mo sa totoong buhay, hindi sa cell phone, sa video call or sa computer.”
Ruru Madrid is the leading role on GMA series “Sherlock Jr.” that is about to conclude this April 27 and will be replaced by the “The Cure.” However, before the series ends, Ruru’s crush, Sophie Albert, will be joining the cast.
He was asked if he has plans to court the young actress, but he replied politely, “May boyfriend po yun, kaya dapat po respeto. Respeto.”
Ruru Madrid is currently single. He said that he prioritizes his career for now. Other than that, he also believes in destiny and is willing to wait for the right person to come.
