In a recent Tonight with Boy Abunda, Nash Aguas revealed his feelings on his parents break-up. He also added that his parents decided to become friends for the past year. He thought he shouldn’t dwell on the problem.
Nash also revealed that he and Alexa Ilacad only remained friends.
In the said interview with Boy Abunda, Nash revealed that his parents still communicate with each other.
“Naisip ko na kesa mag-dwell ako dun sa problem ‘di ba? Kumbaga mas mabuting tulungan ko na lang. Friends pa rin naman sila, may communication pa naman.”
Nash admitted that he couldn’t accept it at first. However, he started to realized that it wasn’t his decision and he should support their decisions.
“Noong una para pong bata na, ‘Unfair, ba’t ganun?’ Pero na-realize ko po kasi na hindi ko na ito desisyon. Kumbaga anak po ako, kailangan ko po suportahan sila kasi kumbaga unfair kung ako yung magdedesisyon para sa kanila. In the end, dalawang silang individuals na may kanya-kanyang opinions so suportahan na lang natin sila and yun maging wag nang pabigat.”
Nash considered their separation as a blessing in disguise and that he strived to be better for his family.
“Naisip ko na blessing siya kasi kung hindi ko naranasan yun na nag-hiwalay sila, hindi ako magstep-up. Siguro nandun pa rin ako na nagpa-party pa rin o kagaya ako ng ibang teenager na walang direksyon ang buhay. Napilitan ako na pagbubutihan ko ‘to para sa kapatid ko, kay daddy, kay lola…”
However, Nash revealed that his love team with Alexa could potentially face a break-up. This also came after the drama series The Good Son which also stars Joshua Garcia, Jerome Ponce and McCoy de Leon among others.
“Siguro po. Kumbaga si Alexa nag-singing na. Pangarap niyang maging singer and supportive po ako sa part na yun. Ang tagal na rin po eh.”
Nash explained that he and Alexa decided that they didn’t want to cage themselves inside their love team.
“Napagdesisyunan namin na ayaw namin makulong sa ganun lang… May iba siyang pangarap, ako may iba akong pangarap. Gusto ko maging director.”
Nash and Alexa remained good friends. However, they don’t profess their love to each other anymore.
