- GMA’s “Ang Forever Ko’y Ikaw” will not last more than one season
- It will be replaced with “My Guitar Princess” starring Julie Anne San Jose
- The said series is expected to compete with ABS-CBN’s top-rating “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso”
The love triangle of Jodi Sta. Maria, Robin Padilla, and Richard Yap in “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso” on ABS-CBN have once again captured the masses.
Apparently, the rival network GMA-7 has no plans on backing down. The same time series “Ang Forever Ko’y Ikaw” starred by Camille Prats and Neil Ryan Sese premiered last March 12, 2018.
Sadly, the series was only given one season and is expected to end anytime soon.
It looks like “Ang Forever Ko’y Ikaw” did not meet the expected outcome and was entirely overpowered by the ABS-CBN series.
Strategy-wise, the Kapuso network will be replacing the said series with another to be starred by a teenager star no other than Asia’s Pop Sweetheart Julie Anne San Jose. The singer-actress will be working with Gil Cuerva and Kiko Estrada.
Is this GMA-7’s trump card to compete with “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso”? Both competing teleserye has the same romantic-comedy genre. The said GMA teleserye is titled “My Guitar Princess.”
Kiko Estrada is excited to work with Julie and Gil. “It’s gonna be the first teleserye na me and Julie are gonna work together. So, it’s very exciting so yeah I was happy to see her noong meet and greet and yeah it was so fun kasi ang tagal ko nang gustong makatrabaho si Julie and of course Gil Cuerva.”
