A fan immediately answered back to defend Maine.
The KPop fan asked not to defend Maine for what they heard on TV was clear. “no dont defend her. nanonood ako ng eat bulaga ngayon at malinaw na malinaw yung nadinig ko. kpop, kpapanget, ibig sabihin yung “kpop” sinasabihan nya hindi yung mga contestants sa super sireyna.”
Maine felt that she needed to respond to the issue immediately and clarify her joke on Twitter. She responded to a K-Pop fan’s rant, “Oops! Felt the need to respond to this.
