Award winning poet and writer Lualhati Bautista has joined the many who support DDS campaign on leaving Facebook.
On her Facebook page, the Bata-bata Paano Ka Ginawa and Dekada ’70 writer wrote a poem inspired by popular ka-DDS’s challenge to leave Facebook.
In her poem, Lualhati asked ka-DDS to proceed with their plan on leaving Facebook without too much fanfare.
“Sa mga ka-DDS na gusto nang humiwalay
Isara na ang pinto at agad nang maglakbay
H’wag nang mag-ingay
Walang pakiaalam kaming mga kapitbahay”
She also advised them to be patient and kind with each other as they build their own social media world.
“Tandaan:
Kayu-kayo lang ang andiyan sa bago n’yong daigdig,
Kayu-kayo na lang ang magtatagisan ng galing nyo’t kulit
Baka kayo mabuwisit
At sa umpisa lang kayo masaya
Bandang huli’y mag-aaway-away na”
Lualhati’s post immediately went viral on Facebook with majority of the netizens also agreeing to the position of ka-DDS leaving Facebook.
As of writing the post which was shared by Silent No More PH has alreayd raked 2.3K shares.
