Kristine Hermosa recently joined the ABS-CBN epicserye Bagani. In a recent interview with MJ Felipe, she revealed that her role, Malaya, is one of the gods and goddesses and the wife of Bathala.
She also added that she still feels nervous about starring in another television series.
Kristine shared that acting again feels strange to her but she is happy on being with Bagani.
“Sobrang naninibago ako, as in, hindi ko na alam. Alam mo ‘yun? Sobrang siyempre pagka-bago ka ulit with what you’re doing. Siyempre parang, nangangapa ka ulit sa mga tao, sa lahat. But, I’m happy. I’m okay.”
Kristine revealed her role in Bagani, the wife of Raymond Bagatsing’s Bathala.
“My role is basically one of the gods, asawa ni Bathala.”
Kristine shared how her husband, Oyo Sotto supported her and strengthens her self-esteem.
“Of course, yung mga kids ko, they don’t understand pa, eh. Pero si Oyo, he was very supportive naman. Parang, hundred percent ‘I’ll pray for you, hon…’ Basta, talagang all support lang siya. ‘Kaya mo ‘yan, kaya mo ‘yan.’ Ganyan siya. Pampatibay ng loob. Sabi ko, ‘Wow, support system ko iba rin.’ I’m really very happy.”
Kristine also expressed her gratitude and wanted people to be happy. She also expressed her nervousness when starting something.
“Thank you! Grabe! Kaya nga, kinakabahan ako… Siyempre diba. As much as possible, I want talagang lahat ng tao to be happy. And, yun nga. Please lessen the expectations, iyon lang. Lagi naman ako kinakabahan every time I start something.”
