On Saturday, April 21, the loveteam of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla or popularly tagged as ‘KathNiel’ appeared and greeted their fans at the recently concluded grand launch of Vivo’s latest smartphone model—V9.
Both have provided the needed buzz as they have drawn their fans and supporters to join them on that momentous event of introducing the pearl black and gold smartphones that had 18,000 preorders right after it was launch in March.
During the Q and A, the blockbuster loveteam, fresh from their blockbuster film ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ (2017) and from their eight-month-run of ‘La Luna Sangre’, the series—they were asked if what would remind them of each other when they use Vivo V9. Bernardo considers Padilla as someone that is versatile enough to take on roles or characters like the phone that fits any kind of personality with varying lifestyles; while Daniel, on the other hand, could compare Kathryn as similar to the phone’s processor.
Both young stars have been the endorsers of the said brand since September 2017.
Senior marketing manager of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.—Dominikus Susanto, Vivo Philippines brand director—Annie Lim and Vivo Philippines’ vice-president—Hazel Bascon were also in attendance.
The new Vivo V9 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 Mobile Platform. Also in May, the smartphone brand will be partnering with YouTube FanFest 2018.
Dubbed as having the ‘perfect shot, perfect view’, V9 boasts of its features such as 24MP front camera that turns every selfie into a work of art; uses two rear cameras—a 16MP main camera and a 5MP secondary camera, which is supported by an AI Bokeh algorithm; has an all-new AI Face Access technology that allows scanning one’s facial features and unlocks instantaneously upon activation; and lastly, an Updated Game Mode that can block all messages, calls and alerts from disturbing anyone while gaming.
