- Kapamilya Box Office brings the beach vibes with “Siargao”

Beach vibes come to every home this weekend, April 28 to 29, as “Siargao,” starring Jericho Rosales, Erich Gonzales and Jasmine Curtis-Smith, airs on KBO.
The movie that pays homage to the most popular beach destination down south today won Second Best Picture along with Best Director for Paul Soriano at the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival. It ties the stories of three people to the beautiful island of Siargao.
In the movie, the island is home to a burned-out musician Diego (Jericho Rosales) to which he returns to escape his troubles, where sheltered vlogger Laura (Erich Gonzales) tries to move on from a failed love, and where a local island girl (Jasmine Curtis-Smith) has second thoughts about a lost love.
The movie also bagged the awards for Best Sound, Best Editing, and Best Cinematography, while its theme, “Alon,” by the band Hale, also won Best Theme Song at the MMFF.
