Award-winning director Jun Robles Lana recently expressed his disappointment with the system inside the showbiz industry.
In an Instagram post, Jun shared a story about one incident where some people in showbiz would just call making a movie a “raket.” This leads to movies lacking beautiful quality.
Although the director didn’t mention any names that could possibly expose someone, netizens, however, agreed to what he said.
A netizen wondered whether the system existed in Nora Aunor, Vilma Santos, Maricel Soriano and Sharon Cuenta’s time. Although, the movies in their time has cheesy dialogue, actors ans actresses have such depth acting.
Another netizen also expressed their relief as someone had finally revealed the said system. They expressed their love and support for the director.
“..OMG😱..ahhahahahahaha Ito yun eh! Sa wakas! Real na Real din talaga eh! Walang Paki kahit sino masasagasaan! Kasi totoo naman talaga eh! “Kalakarang Showbiz” Basura!!!!!!👎👎👎 Love you sir Jun @junrobleslana 😘🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌”
One netizen pointed out how some people who promote one movie would boast how much they worked hard.
A netizen also noted how hard it is to work on a movie. They pointed out that these people should have just worked in a funfair.
Another netizen expressed their support towards the award-winning director. They also asked Jun on putting attention and effort on their craft and shouldn’t hire actors that only wanted to act for the money.
