Fans are thrilled to see Julia Montes at Jackson’s International Airport even for just a brief moment.
She visited Port Moresby, or also know as Pom City, to raise funds for the City Mission’s safe house program run by Haus Ruth. She is brought to the country by WR Carpenters.
Julia Montes appeared at RH Hypermarket Gordon’s and had a tour in Digicel headquarters before going to TVWan studio for the interview.
Apparently, the actress visits to Vision City Mega Mall on the same day, where most of her diehard fans are gathered, has been canceled.
Julia Montes became popular in Papua New Guinea since her Mara Clara and Doble Kara series caught the attention of locals. Both series were aired on their local television station TVWan.
On March 31, during the interview at TVWan, Montes admitted to her fans that she is a shy girl. “I am shy and an off-cam type of girl” as she describes it.
The next day, April 1, she appeared on stage and performed two English songs and one Filipino song. The fans are delighted with Julia’s performance and immediately rushed around the stage to shake her hand take pictures.
Julia Montes’s real name is Mara Hautea Schnittka. She had a rough childhood since her father left them when she was still a baby and was raised by her mother and grandmother. Her humble beginnings and considerable acting talent led her to be an internationally-renowned actress.
