JM de Guzman remains truthful and stated that he is currently in the recovery stage after he was released from the rehabilitation center. He also needed to report to the center every month and would need counseling every day.
This processes also remains one of the assurance that he will never slip back to his vices.
ABS-CBN Corporation recently gave him a huge comeback to showbiz. JM will top-bill Precious Hearts Romances Presents Araw Gabi. He remains thankful for the network that gave him another opportunity to act.
During the press conference for the said series, JM revealed that he will never let go of the support group he has now.
“Well, ‘yun gabing darating parang hindi naman po yata mapipigilan ‘yun, kasi nasa tao di ba? Pero ngayon po, sa pinagdaaanan ko, with coping skills para ma-manage ko ‘yung sarili ko sa oras ng dilim. And may support group po ako na hindi binibitawan.”
In the said press conference, JM denied that his break-up with Jessy Mendiola caused his slip back to his vices a few years ago.
“Hindi ko pwedeng sisisihin doon, eh kasi lahat naman ng tao nagdadaan sa kahit anong problema… Sinisisi ko lahat sa maling choices na ginawa ko to deal with my problems.”
JM continued that he and Jessy saw each other in a restaurant.
However, they didn’t have the chance to greet each other. JM also remains aware of Jessy’s current relationship status with Luis Manzano. He also thinks that Luis will be a perfect husband to Jessy when they get married in the future.
Under the direction of Theodore Boborol, Araw Gabi will air on April 30, Monday.
